Shopify analytics without the spreadsheets.
Simple Stats has exactly two tiers and no report builder. Here's precisely what each one computes, how it computes it, and — just as important — what it deliberately leaves out.
Free forever: the "how's my store doing" job, solved completely.
The free plan isn't a stripped-down trial — it's a genuinely complete answer to the question every merchant asks first thing in the morning.
EXAMPLE illustrative numbers, not a real store's data
→ Revenue, orders, AOV, repeat rate
The four numbers that answer "how are we doing" on their own, computed from your last 30 days of orders — no configuration, no metric picker.
→ One plain-English summary a day
A short sentence naming what changed and why, generated fresh each morning from that day's precomputed numbers.
→ A 30-day trend sparkline
Enough history to see the shape of the last month at a glance, without needing to export anything to see a trend line.
→ One store, no card required
No trial clock and no feature you have to "unlock" to see whether the app is worth using — the free tier is the real product, permanently.
Standard ($24/mo flat): for when 30 days isn't enough.
Standard doesn't add new kinds of data — it adds the ability to look further back and slice what you already have, which is exactly where the free plan's honest limit is.
EXAMPLE illustrative numbers, not a real store's data
→ Full history
Every day since install, not just the trailing 30 — useful the first time you want to compare this holiday season to last year's.
→ Week / month / quarter comparisons
This week vs. last week, this month vs. last month, this quarter vs. last — computed automatically, not built by hand in a report designer.
→ Customer & product segments
Which customer groups and product lines are driving the number that moved, so the plain-English summary has somewhere to point.
→ CSV export
For the accountant, the co-founder, or the spreadsheet you still need for taxes — export what Simple Stats already computed instead of rebuilding it.
What Simple Stats deliberately doesn't do.
The clearest way to describe a focused tool is to say what it isn't. Simple Stats is not trying to be any of these things:
No drag-and-drop designer
There's nothing to configure because there's nothing to build — the metrics that matter are already decided and already computed.
No custom queries
If you need arbitrary joins across a data warehouse, that's a different (and much more expensive) category of tool. Simple Stats answers one job well instead of every job partially.
No AI you talk to
The daily narrative is written by fixed, auditable rules applied to your precomputed numbers — not a language model guessing at your data. Same input, same sentence, every time.
What Simple Stats can see, and what it never touches.
Every morning, Simple Stats reads your store's orders, products, and customers, computes that day's numbers, and writes the summary — before you're at your desk. Two things worth knowing:
→ Read-only, by design
Simple Stats only ever reads order, product, and customer data to compute metrics. It never writes to your store, your theme, or your checkout, and it can't change a price, a product, or an order.
→ Nothing computed while you wait
The dashboard opens with numbers already sitting there — everything is calculated ahead of time on a daily schedule, not recalculated live while a page loads.
